For more than four decades, Rally Raid has relied on traditional paper roadbooks, a method dating back to ancient Egyptian scrolls. This enduring technique has been the backbone of a sport that thrives on challenges and adventure. While the simplicity and reliability of paper roadbooks have served us well, the time for a transformative change has arrived.

At F2R, we are committed to embracing the Roadbook Navigation New Era, and 2024 has definitely marked a pivotal year in this journey. The rapid advancements in technology have enabled us to develop a digital device capable of withstanding the extreme conditions of Rally Raid navigation while enhancing the roadbook experience. The potential of such devices has already been demonstrated and proven.

Our vision for digital technology in roadbook navigation is not to make the sport easier, nor to alter its essence. We understand the importance of preserving the challenging nature of navigation and the true spirit of Roadbook Navigation. Instead, our aim is to leverage digital advancements to increase safety, improve usability, streamline organizational tasks such as roadbook corrections, and foster fairness and equal opportunities within the sport.

The ongoing change process is well underway, and F2R stands at the forefront of this Roadbook Navigation New Era. Just as we have been a significant player in the traditional roadbook landscape, we are equally committed to leading the way in embracing the digital revolution. Introducing the F2R Y1000 Gamma - The Ultimate Navigation Tool Powered by Android.

For the past three years, F2R has been fully dedicated to the development of the F2R Digital Device. Leveraging their extensive rally expertise, they've meticulously engineered a device that can endure the harshest rallies across the globe. It's purpose-built to excel under extreme conditions, including wide-range temperatures, intense vibrations, direct exposure to sunlight, and high-impact scenarios.

The journey to create the F2R Gamma 1000 has been rigorous and challenging. From hardware to software and firmware, every aspect of the device has been developed in-house by our dedicated team.
Since February 2024, they have been rigorously testing multiple prototypes to ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our commitment to perfection has drived us to continue testing and refining until we achieve the ultimate navigation tool.

Pre-tested by about 140 amateur and professional rider like Javi Vega (Dakar Rider), Mikael Berglund (ex Dakar rider), Ivan Merichal (Dakar rider) or Jordi Viladoms (ex Dakar rider) for more than 55000 kms!

With unwavering dedication, our mission is to craft the most advanced navigation tool for adventure and rally motorcycles.

The Y1000 has been developed over the course of three and a half years, drawing on F2R's extensive expertise in roadbook navigation, honed through years of experience in the extreme conditions and environments of rallies. Additionally, it incorporates the team's deepest knowledge of various navigation apps. Designed as a navigation aid made for bikes and SSVs, the device has undergone rigorous testing, covering more than 50.000 kilometers (31.069 miles) to ensure reliability and performance.

It's purposely built to excel under extreme conditions, including wide-range temperatures, intense vibrations, direct exposure to sunlight and high-impact scenarios.

The Y1000 features, among other apps, a Roadbook app designed by F2R to transform the traditional roadbook navigation into a highly interactive and digital experience. Our goal has been to digitalise Roadbook navigation without changing its essence.

Operating System: Android 13 Fully Customized by F2R to Provide the Simplest User Experience While Retaining All Essential Features for the Device's Purpose;
Roadbook Software includes up to two odometers, a CAP header, a speedometer with customizable warnings, and a waypoint arrow, delivering the most advanced and comprehensive navigation experience.
Third-Party Apps: Install and use various navigation apps, import GPX tracks, and download offline maps effortlessly;
High-Performance Integrated GPS with a refresh rate of Up to 25Hz and a circular error probable (CEP) of less than 1 meter;
F2R Power Management System alerts the user to rapid battery drain or any power issues with the bike, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
A Remote that automatically adapts its functionality to each app, enabling seamless control of roadbook applications as well as other navigation, GPS, and music apps;
Covered by a 3-Year Warranty against manufacturing and material defects.
